The establishment of Beykent University

Beykent University was established in the Beylikdüzü district of Istanbul in 1997 by the Beykent Educational Foundation. It includes 9 faculties and 3 vocational schools.

Beykent University Campus

Beykent University contains 4 campuses distributed on the European and Asian sides of Istanbul:

1. Haram Maslak

It is located in the Maslak area in the Asian city of Istanbul. It includes 3 colleges: the College of Architecture, the College of Fine Arts, and the College of Communications.

2. Beylikdüzü Campus

The campus is located in the Beylikdüzü area on the European side of Istanbul. It includes 4 colleges: the College of Medicine, the College of Dentistry, the College of Law, and the College of Arts and Sciences.

3. Taksim Campus

The campus is located in the Taksim area in the European city of Istanbul, and includes the Faculty of Law.

4. Hızım Koy Campus 

The Hadimkoy campus is located in the Esenyurt area in the European city of Istanbul. It includes the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Vocational School.

The modern student residence building is located within walking distance of the Ayazaga-Maslak Campus on an enclosed area of 6,000 square metres. It contains 121 rooms and offers the following services:  

  • Providing breakfast in the morning for all students.  
  • Cleaning student rooms daily.  
  • Availability of central heating system; Which enables students to use hot water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Each room contains: a bed, a small refrigerator, an air conditioner, a TV, a satellite receiver, a wardrobe, a table, a work chair, a lighting unit, and a private Internet connection.  
  • Students have the right to choose a roommate while submitting university housing applications.

Student exchange at Beykent University

Most Turkish universities offer the possibility of student exchange, which is intended to provide university students with the opportunity to spend one semester or a full year at any university in the European Union, in accordance with the policies of the Erasmus program.       

On the contrary, this program allows students from universities in those countries to come to Beykent University and study for one or two semesters.
