Lambusa Female Dormitory

What are the regulations at Cyprus International University dormitory?

Rule

1. General Rules

  • Any temporary absence must be reported to the housing management by completing a permission form. 

  • Entry is permitted only through main doors; emergency exits and windows are not allowed. 

  • Following the housing management's announcements via letters or other communication channels is mandatory. 

  • One free room change is permitted in the first year; subsequent changes cost €100.

  • Housing fees are non-refundable if the student leaves during dismissal. 

  • Committing criminal or dishonorable offenses will result in dismissal and legal penalties.

2. Visitors

  • Staying is only permitted in the room assigned to the student. 

  • Sharing keys or access cards to others is prohibited. 

  • Check-in times: until 12:00 AM Sunday to Thursday, and until 2:00 AM Friday and Saturday. 

  • Overnight stays are not permitted. Violations will result in a hotel fee and a penalty. 

  • Visits are permitted only in the dormitory lobby.

  • During exams, visitors may be received for study purposes with the supervisor's permission.

3. Personal Responsibilities

  • Cooking or using dangerous equipment is prohibited in dormitories without a shared kitchen. 

  • Monthly cleaning is the responsibility of the administration; daily cleaning is the student's responsibility.

  • Damage to common facilities is the responsibility of all users.
